Fried Rosé Pasta, Potato Pancakes & Coleslaw

OK. 1st of all. I finally got one of my dream kitchen gadgets >.< 
Its a chopper. 
Yang ni yang jenis tarik tali. Ni hadiah orang lain tapi orang lain yang pakai.ahahahha. sama macam chopper yang jenis tekan haritu. Dapat as hadiah tapi yang tu tak jadi. Taktau la aku yg salah guna or memang susah nak guna. 
And the joy that I felt when it works is just indescribable🤩 Dah masuk usia dewasa, benda-benda macam ni really excites me. 

Anyways, back to the foods in the title. Nak masak tapi taktau nak masak apa & malas nak handle barang mentah(ayam,daging,etc). Then nampak shell pasta nak expire like 2 more months so why not. Then bila dah scan the whole kitchen & ingredients & brainstorming, dapat la menunya. Pasta goreng Rosé,coleslaw & potato pancakes.

Pasta Rosé tu sebab guna prego tomato + susu. Not sure tu real rosé recipe tapi according to Google that's basically it. Then coleslaw ekspres sebab ada 1/3 carrot & cabbage. Mayo pun tinggal 1 1/2 sudu je tinggal so everything is ngam². Potato pancakes tu pulak sebab nak guna potato tapi ada 1 je so end up buat pancakes cuz I could do mini versions. Nampak banyak la jadinya kan. 
Semua ni terjadi secara spontan. Memang tak tengok resipi. Except potato pancake sebab tak sure kene guna tepung apa but anything else aku just go with the flow dengan apa yang aku jumpa. 
Nak la tulis resipi sini.For my own future reference. Kalau korang nak guna, silakan tapi alter la eh. Sebab resipi aku ni takdela sedap mana. Biasa-biasa je. Nama je macam WOW skit🤣

Fried Rosé Pasta / Pasta Goreng Rosé :
Pasta(tak kisah pasta apa.Aku guna seashell pasta)
Sosej(atau daging burger or cincang)
Susu cair
Bawang putih
Sos prego tomato
Kiub ayam
Gula/Garam/Serbuk perasa
Tepung jagung(jika perlu)

1.Rebus pasta. Simpan lebihan air pasta.
2.Tumis bawang putih cincang. 
3.Masukkan sos prego.
4.Masukkan susu cair sehingga cukup rasa berkrim mengikut citarasa sendiri. Masukkan juga lebihan rebusan air pasta.
5.Masukkan sosej yang sudah direbus.Kalau guna daging cincang/burger,boleh masak sekali time tumis bawang putih.
6.Jika sos kelihatan terlalu cair, boleh masukkan larutan air+tepung jagung ke dalam sos sehingga sedikit pekat. 
7.Masukkan 1 kiub ayam. Kemudian tambah gula,garam atau apa-apa serbuk perasa mengikut citarasa. 
8.Setelah berpuas hati dengan kelikatan sos, masukkan pasta dan gaul sebati. Bayangkan pasta seperti masak mac & cheese. Tak terlalu cair dan tak terlalu kering.
9.Siap.

Coleslaw :
Bawang holland 
Lobak merah
Kubis
Epal hijau(saje nak try sebab coleslaw Marrybrown macam letak epal jgk)
Mayonais 
Susu cair
Serbuk lada hitam
Gula/Garam

1.Cincang halus bawang holland, lobak merah dan kubis. Kalau aku, bawang dengan kubis tu aku guna chopper yang aku cerita mula² tadi & lobak merah pulak aku hiris guna mandoline yang halus punya. Apa ntah nama melayu dia, lupa pulak. 
2.Potong epal dalam bentuk kiub. (sebab nak tiru marrybrown je ni.coleslaw diorang selalu ada benda kiub kat dalam.taktau apa benda tapi tekstur macam epal)
3.Disebabkan mayonais aku dah memang tinggal sikit so aku masukkan je susu dalam bekas mayo pastu tambah serbuk lada hitam Ajishio,gula & garam. Pastu goncang.
4.Setelah goncang, tuang atas sayur-sayur tadi dan gaul sebati.
5.Siap.

Potato Pancake/Penkek Kentang :
1 kentang saiz sederhana besar(atau apa² kuantiti mengikut keinginan)
tepung
telur(sebenarnya tak perlu telur tapi aku silap buat pegi letak telur.kalau versi simple memang takyah telur)

1.Hiris kentang halus-halus menggunakan mandoline.
2.Basuh dan rendam hirisan kentang dan biarkan seketika. 
3.Basuh semula kentang dan tos hingga kering. 
4.Masukkan tepung dan salut kentang.
5.Boleh fry dalam frying pan dan pastikan pancake tu nipis. Fry sehingga keperangan dan siap.

5.Jika nak buat style jemput², masukkan telur ke dalam kentang & tepung tadi. 
6.Bentukkan dengan sudu biar nipis dan masukkan dalam frying pan. Biar keperangan dan siap. 
*Kebanyakan resipi potato pancake yang aku jumpa memang tak letak perasa sebab nanti cicah sos. Tapi kalau nak letak perasa terus pun boleh je rasanya.

Siap semua, aku pun assemble dalam pinggan. Assemble letak-letak je. Tak hias pun. Belakang aku sakit-sakit dah. Nak cepat siap je ni😂
Kalau ada cheese sedap gak. Boleh letak dalam potato pancake & pasta. Tapi dah habis lak stok dalam rumah ni.

Creamy TomYam Instant Noodles

I have been craving for creamy Tom Yam pasta for a while now but I'm too scared to actually do it and I can't really find it at cafes (at a price within my budget). And I just realized I could just do it w instant noodles. I mean I've already made creamy curry maggi so clearly I can do it w tomyam maggi. 

I used Myojo mee poh noodles & regular maggi noodles. After its boiled, I just added the seasoning oil from the mee poh noodles and the tomyam maggi powder seasoning and a splash of milk. 

It's tastes great. Not the best but good enough for me to settle down my tomyam cream pasta craving. Also I just noticed how sour maggi tomyam is. The next time I do this I either gotta add more milk or just use half of the seasoning or add a little sugar.

2022 Overview

Writing an overview cause I know damn well I ain't that punctual writing everything that I wanted to. In other words, I do have things to share but just a little too lazy to share on that exact time moment(or even after it but then start to forget about it). For instance, I just remembered that I planned writing a review about the "not-meat plant-based chicken burger" from KFC. I think the burger was from last year😶

I will try writing and updating this post anytime that I remember to. Was gonna save it as a draft every time I write and posting it on the last day of 2022, but regarding last year's tragedy(where I write everyday and save it as a draft but then one day I accidently deleted the whole post😭).  So, no way I drafting it..

I'm writing this on 17/7, so Imma try to remember what happened from Jan 2022 till now (but not in order. I don't think I can do that).

. Went to my first event. Can't really say much about it cuz it's kinda a shush-shush thing 😁but I can confirm I'll remember it well💑

. 1st time eating at Dolly Dim Sum in KL. Damn good weh. Real dumplings tu.. 😋

. I lost my beloved Tiger Momot🐈 I blame myself. Cried for 3 days then went on feeling numb for a few weeks.

. Sis got transferred home

. Raya Aidilfitri secara mengejut. Awal sehari than estimated kat kalendar. Kelam kabut semua. 🤣

. Started to get along with my younger cousins. Slowly but surely. After much talking, I discovered that I have relatable things most with the oldest💜

. Went to multiple cafes (courtesy of sister). So far, we went to Bao2, Mykori, etc.

. Family Day trip kat ... 

. Went to Cameron Highlands🍓Our last trip there was in 2015, 7 years ago. Stayed in Abang Homestay. Why? Sebab kedai nasi lemak strawberry Abang yang famous tu depan homestay kitorg je. Takyah kalut2 nak gerak lepas subuh bagai. Kitorg kluar bilik dalam kul 8 kut and jalan kaki je. I think we sat there for like an hour. Pastu time nak kluar, beratur panjang wooo.. tu kalau yang tido homestay Abang tapi still kene beratur memang malu ler.
