#3 rhymes with Free. Coz the apps I used to edit my banner is! XD

Heyoooo…! 3rd post is here. Somehow I’ve decided to number my posts. Easier for me to track how much I’ve written 😊. So, for this post, I’m just gonna keep it simple. A tutorial on how I made my header/banner for my blog. Really simple. This post might be the shortest one yet. 😅

Step 1 : Choose a photo that you want.
Step 2 : Open PicsArt. Pick that photo and select "cutout"

Step 3 : Outline the part where you want. And the click the arrow on the top-right.

Step 4 : From just the outline, it will automatically select the necessary areas. But, some unwanted parts could be selected too. Or even the parts you want wont be selected automatically. Its ok. To erase the unwanted parts, just select the eraser icon and rub away. If there are parts that aren't selected, just select the pencil icon. You could also adjust the hardness and size of the cursor to make it easier.

Step 5 : Select next and your sticker is done. Now just save it and you can use it on different kinds of backgrounds. (Mine here looks different coz I already adjusted the colours and hues.)

Step 6 : Open up Canva on your laptop/desktop. It easier that on phone. You have to sign up to use it. Select create design. At the top right of the page, theres a "Use custom dimensions" and this will show up. The pix for blogger is 1140 x 300. So fill it up and press design.

Step 7 : Choose your background. I chose this pink gradient background.

Step 8 : Stretch it out as far as you can until it fills up the whole rectangle and adjust the position. As you can see here, I had to stretch the pic really far out 😆. Don't worry. The resolution of the pic won't damage. It'll still be clear.

Step 9 : After that's done, just place the sticker that you've made and you're all set. To add all the photos and such, just select uploads. So here is the pics that I use for my banner. Except the galaxy. That was from a previous work. For the "NaSya's Blog" wording, I actually made it in PicsArt on a blank background and used the same sticker making technique (step 3 - step 5).

Step 10 : Put it all together and its done. About adjustments regarding when uploading it as banner in header, I already explained it in my previous post. If it needs adjustments, take your time and just do it. You'll get there eventually.

You don't have to be super creative to create something nice. Just a little bit of that, a little bit of this, a dash of that, a pinch of technology and you're all good to go. 😉

Till my next post! 👋👋👋
